An adjunct is an ingredient that is added to a beer as a supplement, not as a necessity. A beer could have been made without it.

On the fire
Got to have some outdoor fun brewing last night. The Rackers were invited to do a brew at Heritage Hill’s Hops@theHill event.
Me, Max and Dan had two brews going. A rather historical brew over an open fire,, and a modern propane home brew set up.
We had tons of interest in both versions of the brewing.
Certainly would do this again if they were to ask.
